This session is for Kinder-6th grade students (ages 5-12) in Spanish Dual Immersion programs, Spanish learners and fluent Spanish speakers. This innovative program is directed by Janice Markham, along Estela Garcia and an amazingly talented team of master artists/performers/puppeteers! The program includes visual art, theater games, improvisation and music! Join us!

    The Arclight is proud to announce the first public exhibition of photographs taken by Susan Tillou, former international officer for the OSCE and the United Nations. From Southeastern Europe to Southeast Asia – political rallies to waterfalls – her photos capture great beauty in otherwise destitute circumstances.

  • EVENT: March 26, 2006: Pasadena Moveon Looks at the Issues is having a special benefit for Pasadena Educational Programming and its tv news magazine, Pasadena Moveon Looks at the Issues. There will be excellent food and a screening of Sheila Laffey's documentary The Last Stand: Heroes of the Ballona Wetlands. For information and an invitation follow this link..

  • EXTENDED: "Gallery" has been extended! Sunday matinees at 2:00pm starting June 13, 2004. There will be no performance on July 4th.

  • OPENING: April 20, 2004: The world premiere of "Gallery" by Janice Markham, designed and directed by Keith Mitchell. Stay tuned for new info!

  • UPCOMING EVENT: December 6, 2003: It's happening again! VOX BOX is hosting a Cabaret Sing-a-thon Extravaganza! Four hours of music! Dozens of performers! Hear all your favorites! This time it's happening at Highland Grounds in Hollywood. And the recommended donation is only $10! So put it on your calendar and don't miss out!

  • Update: September 24, 2003: The short film Miriam Cornsweig's Farewell Performance is going to be screened at The Zephyr Short Film Festival @ The Zephyr Theatre on October 4th at 11:00am (Free coffee & bagels at 10:30 am). The Zephyr Theatre is located at 7456 Melrose Ave. in Hollywood. Tickets are $7.99. For reservations call 323.852.9111

  • ALERT: October 13, 2002: WE DID IT! Miriam Cornsweig is gonna be on television! Everything came together and the Sundance Channel is going to air Miriam Cornsweig's Farewell Performance. The first air date is Sunday, October 13 @ 8p.

  • Update: November 11, 2001: The third Cabaret Night went superbly! Stay tuned for more cabarets in 2002 . . .

  • UPCOMING EVENT: November 10, 2001: The third Cabaret Night of 2001, featuring the VOX BOX Cabaret Band. Save this date for Miriam Cornsweig's "I wanna be on television" Telethon fundraiser.
    Guess What?! The Sundance Channel wants to air the film, Miriam Cornsweig's Farewell Performance (starring Janice Markham, directed by Victoria Arch, and art direction by Keith Mitchell) for a 2 year contract starting in January 2002. However, funds need to be raised for music licensing and to create new music. Stay tuned for more information!
